We had an absolutely wonderful stay. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia.

We we’re spoiled from start to the end of our stay! What a treat! We really appreciated the roses for our 35th wedding anniversary.

The hotel is stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature with breathtaking views that make it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.

What truly made our stay exceptional, was the staff. They we’re all very welcoming and attentive I had a very good contact with Nanaa. She really knows what hospitality is all about. Also the owner came to have a chat during our diner. Their warmth and hospitality made an already beautiful hotel feel even more special.

The food was also outstanding. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care.

Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would not hesitate to come back and will happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munduk.

Our stay at Umah Lusa was truly magical and unforgettable! From the thoughtful handwritten letters to the incredible attention to every little detail, everything felt exceptionally personal and special.

The staff went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate our needs and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Even the smallest touches, like having a car equipped with Wi-Fi, reflected the exceptional level of care and hospitality.

It was an extraordinary experience that we will cherish forever. We cannot recommend Umah Lusa highly enough and would absolutely love to return!

What a beautiful place . The views from the pool are gorgeous and the design and attention to detail in the room is exemplary.
The Balinese massage was so good we both booked for the next day ! And the clove tea afterwards was a plus .
We did a trip to the Banyamala waterfalls and had a drive around Munduk with the lovely guide/ driver from the hotel and also visited the little organic farm.
I second the comment from another reviewer re the joy of having your laundry done and origamied to perfection 😃
The food was delicious ( we always pick the Balinese options). My only comment ( as an egg adverse person!) is maybe a couple of other options at breakfast other than the granola and chia pudding ( both were lovely)
I am sure we will be back!
This is the Bali experience of 30 years ago . Thanks to all the gorgeous staff, we loved it .

Nieuw, kleinschalig, hotel in het echte Bali. Rustig in de volle natuur.
Heel mooie en grote kamers met alle Luxe dat je kan nodig hebben.
Super vriendelijk personeel die ´the extraordinary mile´ voor je doet, zelfs zonder dat je het vraagt.
We hebben ook heel lekker gegeten.  Er is zowel een lokale jaartallen meer westerse.
We hadden het hier ongelooflijk goed!

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending seven nights in the Insakan Suite, and even though we travel a lot, this was easily one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in.

The photos on the website are absolutely accurate. Actually, they don’t quite do it justice. The breathtaking hillside setting, with views across the forest all the way to the distant ocean, and the gorgeous pool area are even more beautiful in real life.

But none of that was the best part of Umah Lusa.

By far, the best part was the team. Staying here felt less like being guests at a hotel and more like being welcomed into the home of friends, friends who genuinely cared and did everything they could to give us the most wonderful time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Umah Lusa team. You made this place truly special for us.

Nous avons passé 3 magnifiques nuits à Umah Lusa et notre séjour a été parfait du début à la fin. 🌿

Le service de l’hôtel est d’une grande qualité : toute l’équipe est extrêmement accueillante, à l’écoute et répond toujours rapidement à nos demandes.

Nous avons également profité d’un massage balinais, qui était vraiment excellent. L’hôtel nous a aussi organisé une excursion pour visiter un temple ainsi qu’une cascade, tout était très bien organisé. Nous avons également pu confectionner directement à l’hôtel une offrande balinaise, appelée Canang Sari, une expérience très intéressante et enrichissante qui nous a permis de découvrir un peu plus la culture locale.

Le restaurant de l’hôtel est formidable, aussi bien pour la qualité des plats que pour le service. Nous avons également utilisé le service de laverie : nous avons récupéré nos vêtements propres et parfaitement pliés dès le lendemain. Un vrai plus pendant un voyage !

Concernant l’endroit en lui-même, Umah Lusa est situé dans un véritable havre de paix, au milieu de la forêt. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et dépaysant. C’est exactement le genre d’endroit que nous recherchions à Munduk. 🌴

Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans aucune hésitation. Nous n’avons absolument rien de négatif à relever sur notre séjour et, si nous avons la chance de revenir un jour à Bali, nous reviendrons très certainement à Umah Lusa.

Notre séjour à Umah Lusa été féerique, situé dans le nord de Bali, au milieu de la nature, leurs très grandes chambres : des joglos ( maison en bois de  Java) ont été décorées avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinement. Ce séjour nous a permis de nous offrir une parenthèse de calme et de sérénité.Le petit déjeuner est un régal des yeux et des papilles !

We had the most incredible stay at Umah Lusa and honestly cannot recommend it enough. Everything from start to finish was exceptional.

The staff were absolutely amazing so warm, attentive and genuinely caring throughout our entire stay. It was all the little touches throughout the day, the incredible attention to detail and the level of service that made the experience feel so special.

The property itself is beautiful, the spa was amazing, and there was such a sense of calm and care in everything they did. You can really feel how much thought has gone into creating the whole experience.

A huge thank you to the entire Umah Lusa team for looking after us so wonderfully. Everyone we met was nothing but kind and helpful, and you truly made our stay unforgettable.
